The Australian Technical Committee of CIGRE
An Introduction
The Australian Technical Committee of CIGRE comprises the CIGRE Australia representatives on each of the 16 CIGRE International Study Committees. In turn, each of these study committee members convenes an Australian Panel matching the CIGRE International Study Committee Structure. The Australian Technical Committee is convened by the Australian Technical Committee Chairman. The ATC Chairman is also a member of the ANC CIGRE Board.
The Australian Technical Committee provides a forum for its members as both Study Committee Representatives and Panel Convenors to exchange ideas, coordinate joint activities and report on particular issues both local and international.
The ATC conducts most of its activities during the year by quarterly teleconferences. The main face-to-face meeting is held on the day prior to the ANC annual general meeting.
